From what I saw on Iara Lee’s 1 hour video (albeit we still don’t have a full uncut timeline), the IDF started the hostility by firing stun grenades and paintballs from the zodiacs, then they started aiming (not sure if they shot) at people using laser sight from the helicopter, well before the commandos landed on the deck.
